Notes

  • As the only boy among the children, Everett was called "Son" by not only his parents but all his sisters.
I was always close to Uncle Everett.  When I was a kid and into my adulthood, he would take me around the farm with in his work with the cattle. At one time I remember he let me ride his horse. He would tell me about his terrible experiecnce in the war, especailly about the item when he and his platoonn were captured.  He had a terrible experiecne as a prisoner of war.
I always felt comfortable with him.  When I was young he used to takeme into own and introduce me to all his friends. When I got to returnfrom overseas to visit, he would talk to me about his work and we always talked about cattle and business. I loved him very much.
